Nature Recovery Plan

Overview:

As part of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape’s Nature Recovery Plan strategy, I was asked to create a series of completely speculative yet familiar landscapes which reflect the local landscape. These illustrations would depict a vision aligned with the state of nature within the Forest of Bowland as it currently stands. Then probably improvements would reshape this landscape after a nature recovery plan had been successfully implemented in the future. Thereby creating a series of before and after visions for local nature recovery. These illustrations have been meticulously co-produced over many months, using primary and secondary sources of data, multiple stakeholder input and commissioner steering meetings.
